To become a church where nobody stands alone.

GOAL OF LIFE GROUP MINISTRY

To provide fellowship and mutual support so that the church can have an impact in the community. To encourage and build up one another so that the body of Christ can be cared for and the world can be influenced through their good deeds. To teach the truth and develop future leaders who can shepherd others and disciple them in the faith.

WHAT ROLE DOES THE BIBLE PLAY IN A LIFE GROUP?

The Bible is studied from the viewpoint of application.  Rather than just getting Bible knowledge, you are challenged to apply It’s truths in your daily living.  We believe the Bible contains everything necessary for our Christian walk which enables us to be successful in every area of our lives.

Knowing the Bible well is not a prerequisite. A desire to learn and an inquiring mind will enable you to participate in a life group.

HOW CAN I GET MORE INFORMATION ABOUT LIFE GROUPS?

Contact Kathryn Greene, Life Group Ministry Director, or go to the Information Desk in the Worship Center Mall.  If you have not been a part of a life group before, you are encouraged to visit one or more of our groups.  The group leaders will be happy to answer your questions and provide more information on their particular group.

Joining a life group can be one of the richest experiences in your Christian walk.  We pray that you find it to be a safe haven where you can retreat in the midst of your hectic schedule.

Our desire is that your life group experience provides caring relationships, a satisfying study of the Bible, and a growing know-ledge of God through answered prayer.

WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE FOR LIFE GROUP MEETINGS?

Most life groups meet on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and many on Wednesday nights.  However, some groups meet at a time of their choosing that best meets the needs of their group.  Most groups meet September through May.

 I HAVE SMALL CHILDREN.  IS CHILD CARE PROVIDED?

Child care is provided during the Sunday Morning schedule as well as from 5 to 7:30 on Sunday Evening.

For the life groups that meet on Wednesday nights, there is a nursery provided for children 2 and under.  Ages 3 and up attend KICS (a scripture-learning and music program), and the Youth (6^th through 12 grades) meet in the student center on Wednesday nights.
