Pastor Stacy directs the Harmony Hillsingers (Adult Choir), Harmony Ensemble and leads worship in the blended service on Sunday mornings. He enjoys playing his trumpet with the orchestra and singing with the ensemble when the opportunity arises. He has served in full-time music ministry for over twenty years and was actively involved in music leadership at his father’s church, Mobberly Baptist, in Longview, TX for over ten years before that. He earned his undergraduate degree at East Texas Baptist College in Marshall, TX. After four years as high school choral director at Pine Tree HS in Longview, TX he went on to earn a Master of Music degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX. He served as minister of music at churches in Tyler, TX and Bryant, AR before coming to Harmony Hill in August of 2007. As Senior Worship Pastor he oversees the entire music ministry. He is also in charge of the BALL Fellowship (Be Active, Live Longer!) Senior Adult Ministry at Harmony Hill and loves being with those who have “been there, done that”! They are full of wisdom and energy (and, yes, a lot of mischief!).

Pastor Stacy is married to Milissa Gayle (Ortegel) and they have four beautiful children: Cheyenne, Collin, Carly and Cole. They are the joys of his life and they are all music lovers – go figure! Stacy enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Missi sings alto in the choir and is the epitome of the word “hostess”. She loves to entertain guests in their home when she is not teaching at Central Elementary.
