Community is essential for every believer; a better phrase for social distancing may be physical distancing. We still need each other for encouragement, conviction of sin, and growth in Christlike behavior. As you walk through this new time, please stay connected with the resources below and share how God’s church (you) are being obedient.
We obey Christ by sacrificially serving others for gospel advancement. Here are a few ideas for you and your children to consider for sacrificially serving during this unique time:
Help neighbors with their yard work.
Write letters to nursing homes, hospital staff, grocery store staff.
Pray for nursing homes, hospital staff, grocery store staff.
Draw chalk art in a driveway for a sick, elderly or lonely person. Make sure it’s okay before you draw on their driveway.
Send videos to grandparents, family or friends who are alone.
Send pictures by phone to friends, family and teachers.
