In the gospel of Luke, Jesus tells of lost things—a lost sheep, a lost coin, and a lost son. The common thread in these stories is the celebration when what was lost is found. When people are lost from God, they do not have His direction, His protection, His joy, and they do not have a home in heaven. Christmas is a seek and save story—God coming after each of us and bringing us home!
