The worship of God’s gathered people is to be marked with “love that binds everything together in perfect harmony” (Col. 3:12-17). We honor the Lord when our love for one another is active not passive. We honor Him when we say the same thing: the Word of Christ. We honor Him when we do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
