The Bible teaches us that God is sovereign, and while He does allow us freedom of choice, that freedom is limited. Pray as David did in Psalm 19:13, “Keep me from presumptuous sins.” Talk to God first and then hold plans lightly, saying “God willing.” This is the right attitude before a sovereign God.
