In 2 Corinthians chapters 2 and 3, there are two metaphors for believers: aroma of Christ and letter for Christ. “Christ leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere” (2:14). “You are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God…” (3:3). We have a great hope, therefore we can be bold to share the gospel. God makes us sufficient to accomplish what He commands.
