How can we possibly be right before a holy God? By not trusting in our own righteousness, by being “justified”—judged, regarded, or treated as righteous—by God through Jesus Christ, by being clothed in His righteousness, having none of our own. When we humbly accept His grace and mercy, we will extend grace and mercy to others.
